with a place to talk

about some of my

favorite topics, almost all of

which are related to

Brazil in one way or another

.

I am a 74 year old

retired engineer.

Last year I decided to

start the new year off

with a change. On

January 1, 2006 I and

my dog Camp Puppy

left our home in

North Georgia and

moved to the city of

Campos do Jordão in

Brazil

We spent January and February in a beautiful

while we looked for

permanent

place to live.

In March we moved to the house that I bought

and

we are now

settling

down and enjoying a

much

improved climate, life style and scenery.

Todd and Victoria

(The

brains behind

were the first

Americans to visit my

new home in Brazil,

but

I am anticipating

a

steady stream of

visitors in the future,

perhaps even you

who

are reading this.

As I told Todd, I

have

the urge to

write, but

I also

tend to start

more

things than I

can

finish. If I find

that

there are some

people out there

that

are interested

in my

experiences,

I will

promise to

share

more of

them with

you.
